Rocky Mountain German Shepherd Dog Club

For all training classes, visitors are welcome, but you must become a non-regular member. Please contact a board member for more info: board.officers@rmgsdc.org

Please join us for our annual club Christmas party at the beautiful Lollar Home.

What to Bring: a side dish, salad or dessert to share.

Optional: a small wrapped or bagged dog related gift-item for our gift exchange.

We eat potluck style at our Christmas party and this year will be no exception. Please bring a side or dessert or appetizer to share. We also have a fun gift exchange that you are welcome to participate in. This year instead of setting a minimum dollar limit on the gift exchange we encourage club members to buy dog related item(s) to exchange. Club members said that they found it nearly impossible to find a fun gift under $15, as was the limit in years past, so we have done away with the minimum.

Also, we will have a club meeting at the Christmas party and this will be the last chance to nominate officers.

Please let us know whether you are attending or not by RSVPing with Beth Reynolds at beth.reynolds@rmgsd.org. If you plans to attend, please let beth know what you will be bringing for the potluck.

Barn Hunt Activity + Club/Board Meeting @ 9975 Wadsworth Parkway M4 Westminster,CO 80021

Saturday, July 22, 2017

  • Barn Hunt Activity 10-noon

  • Board/Regular meeting 12:00-till we are finished.

Agenda:

Meeting Notice for our Barn Hunt Activity July 22 2017. Our time is from 10-12. As mentioned before we had limited number of slots that have been filled. Each slot is $11.00 payable to Treasurer Patty Korsch on July 22. Our board meeting/ meeting will be very brief in the facility following our Barn hunt exercise.

The following will be information provide by our Barn Hunt Instructor .

Please bring a crate, mat/tarp/blanket to protect the flooring under the crate, a 6ft leash, treats and water bowl for your dog. If you think your dog will mark/pee in the ring please bring a belly band. Dogs that pee in the ring are immediately excused to potty outside and the remainder of that turn is forfeited. Please pick up after your dogs.

There is a lot to learn from watching your peers and helping out during class. I encourage all participants to watch other teams run their dogs and listen to my feedback. I appreciate students who help rat wrangle and gate steward during classes as this helps things move along faster and allow more runs per class.

There are 2 "human" restrooms located inside the facility. Matrix is cooled with central A/C. Please do not park in front of other businesses. If you have a very loud barking dog that is disruptive you will be asked to crate in your car away from the building.

Very excited about the club activity . See you all soon.

We would also like to encourage club members to participate in our fund raiser with King Soopers. Please contact our club vice president, Beth Reynolds
